James "Nunu" Glee grew up in Brandford, CT before moving to East Haven at the age of 16.
In both towns he was known as an outstanding athlete who excelled in Football, Basketball and Track & Field. His high school accomplishments include being named: Walter Camp All-Connecticut Team, All State Scholar Athlete, Levi Jackson All-Area Team, All State First Team and was Ranked in the top 25 players by USA Today.
James attended Hofstra University where he was a four year starter on the Football team and an All Atlantic 10 pick.
Post college he continued playing football for the Corpus-Christi Sharks of Texas and had begun pursuing a career in Law Enforcement before his life was unexpectedly cut short by a drunk driver on August 18, 2010 at the age of 29.
